Public exhibition of the Sanctuary Villages proposal began on Sept 3rd and will finish on 6th October. The Greens are encouraging residents to look at the plans closely and consider making an objection

Concerns from the Report
When reading the Environmental Assessment Report (Main report) the following pages and sections highlight issues the Greens will be raising.
•Stage 1 will see 200 houses built without any further community infrastructure

•Hardie Holdings consultant recommends that a roundabout be put in at Congewai Rd and Sanctuary Rd. HH has only committed to putting in warning signs.

•There are no plans to upgrade existing roads for the entire development.

grades may be required for future stages. In the context of the above, Parsons

can be accommodated by the existing road network with little impact, however
further detailed design work will be required prior to future stages proceeding.”
